Christmas Homemade Brownies Recipe

Homemade brownies are among almost everyone's chocolate favorites. These brownies are a snap to make and you can decorate them however you like. Add food coloring to the frosting to get the desired color and top off with sugar or cookie sprinkles.

Brownie Ingredients:

2 c. sugar

1 c. flour

2/3 c. cocoa

2/3 c. vegetable oil

4 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

Mix ingredients in large mixing bowl. Pour into a 13"x9" lightly greased pan and bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.

Vanilla Frosting Ingredients:

3 c. powdered sugar

1/4 c. shortening

1/4 c. water

2 tsp. vanilla

food coloring

Stir together the first four ingredients in a mixing bowl. To color the

frosting, add the food coloring of your choice. Spread the frosting on cooled brownies.
